This page will describe some of the ministries our church provides to the community. We minister to all people of all ages, meeting their needs while glorifying our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. If you have any questions or comments, you may contact us at any time.
Every summer, at the beginning of August, we hold a VBS to share with the children of Marinette, Menominee, and Peshtigo the wonderful truths of God's word. It is by no means a boring time! In addition to Bible lessons, the children sing, make crafts, play games, eat snacks, listen to stories, and much more. It winds up with a Friday night assembly at the church, where they get to show everyone what they learned during the week. Be sure to visit the VBS page.
On Wednesday nights the children have the opportunity to have a special service geared just for them. Find out more about our Voyagers club.
We also have a ministry for those who choose to home school their children. Our goal is to honor God and edify home schooling families by sharing wisdom, tools, and techniques through prayer, fellowship, and ministry. Check the Home Educators pages.
Our teens have special activities on Sunday morning and Wednesday night. There are various activities that they will be able to participate in. Presently the Teens are studying through the topic of Apologetics with the senior high on Sunday morning, and "How Firm a Foundation," a study on the reliability of the Scriptures, on Wednesday nights. We have a special Sunday School class for those college-aged individuals (single or married) who want lessons focused on the needs they have. As with the teens, there are activities in addition to the regular class time.
It seems to surprise many that we have an adult Sunday School class. However, the need for adults to know and apply the Bible has never been greater. With the promulgation of cults and false doctrine, in addition to the secular culture in which we live, the average adult has many scriptural decisions to make. Unfortunately, most of these decisions are made without knowing the timeless principles of God's word. Joining the adult Sunday School is profitable for you and easy to do. The church has a small bookstore where books may be purchased or checked out. In addition, Pastor's sermons are available on cassette or CD.
